Project Soar is a non-profit 501(C)(3) organization, registered in the U.S. and in Morocco. The Project Soar Flagship Program operates out of its headquarters in Douar Ladaam, twenty minutes outside of Marrakesh. We provide Empowerment programming and Academic Support to Girls of the immediate village, as well as the surrounding villages of Chouitter and Douar Ahmed Bel Haj. After five years of successful programming, Project Soar is expanding to serve more girls in different locations around Morocco.
Project Soar seeks a candidate fluent in English to join our team. The position is 40 hours a week or 4-5 days in the office at headquarters in Douar Laadam. Financial Management experience is a plus.

Program Coordinator This is a dynamic position for a true self-starter. Project Soar is ever evolving and moves at a quick pace; multi-tasking and grace under pressure are essential. Excellent communication and organisation skills are required to succeed in this position. The ideal candidate will be self-assured, a natural leader and true team player, has excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and advanced knowledge in implementing plans to respond to academic-related issues.

The Academic Tutor must maintain a clear understanding of Project Soar’s Mission and goals, ensuring Project Soar girls and families understand the purpose of our work, our role in the village and the resources that we provide.
The Academic Tutor is an essential position and is responsible for the academic development and success of the Project Soar Girls. This part time role includes the detailed planning and execution of Academic Sessions as well as all paperwork and follow-up items for these sessions. Sessions are focused in Math, Physics, Natural Sciences and French. They are meant to be supplemental to the coursework of the public school, grades 9-12 (9th grade of secondary school and first, second and third year of high school).
The facilitator should follow the curriculum as such. One hour of tutoring per subject, per grade level, is offered each week. Each tutor will cover only the subject in which they are specialised. Please apply for the subject you will teach.
