FHI 360 and partners, International Research and Exchange Board (IREX), Education for Employment (EFE) and Golden Resources (GR), are implementing the USAID CAREER CENTER in Morocco. The activity is being implemented in close coordination with Government of Morocco (GOM) counterparts, the Ministry of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research. USAID CAREER CENTER is playing a central role in advancing USAID/Morocco and the Government of Morocco’s (GOM) broader goal of increasing the employability of young Moroccans. The project has been establishing in three regions (Casablanca, Marrakech, Tangier) six pilot Career Centers linked to universities and the vocational training facilities and incorporating work readiness training into the Moroccan tertiary education system, vocational training system, and workplaces where these skills contribute to the employability and performance of youth in the workplace.
About the USAID CAREER CENTER
The USAID Career Center’s youth outreach and engagement strategy is based on a proactive presence of Career Centers on the Internet and social media. Social networks such as Facebook and YouTube are the primary vectors of exchanges between the youth in Morocco. One of the objectives of the USAID Career Center program is to encourage the youth to promote their employability through the digital means available today. Videos are also a mandatory communication medium to reach out to the youth and capture their attention and interest.
The production of video to relay information on services, actions and events of the Career Centers is a necessity to reach the target audience, but also to communicate the achievements and results to public and private partners of Career Centers.
The purpose of this mission is to support the implementation of the USAID Career Center’s communication strategy, produce post-event content for Career Centers, and support the program team in training Career Center staff. On the production of video through the realization of tutorials and also face-to-face.
To this end, the consultant will have to:
- Produce one or more institutional videos highlighting the different services offered by Career Centers
- Produce post-event videos organized by Career Centers
- Provide coverage of photos and videos of key Career Center events (testimonials, etc.)
- Make one or more before-and-after videos with a Career Center beneficiary (ies)
- Support the program team in training Career Center staff to produce videos.

The total level of effort for this work will be 80 days from 1 February 2019 – 30 September 2019
The consultant for this assignment must have a degree in multimedia production and video editing. He/She must possess strong organizational and creative qualities and must have already conducted several similar missions successfully.
The consultant will work under the supervision of the USAID Career Center Technical Coordinator and Technical Director.
