UNDP Finance Analyst (FTA-NOA)

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Advanced (Masters) University Degree in Finance/Accounting, Business or Public Administration, or a professional accounting qualification from an internationally recognized institute of accountancy. Professionally qualified accountants from an internationally recognized institute of accountancy will have a distinct advantage.
  • UNDP Advanced Accountancy and Finance test required.
  • Up to 2 years of relevant experience in providing financial management services, managing staff and operational systems. Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc) and advance knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages, experience in handling of web-based management systems and ERP financials, preferably PeopleSoft.
  • Experience of IPSAS and/or IFRS is required for external candidates.
  • Fluency in the UN working language and the national language of the duty station.

UNDP Human Resources Assistant (FTA-GS5)

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Secondary Education with specialized certification in HR. University Degree in Business or Public Administration would be desirable, but it is not a requirement.
  • 5 years of relevant HR and/or administrative experience is required at the national or international level.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision. Duties and responsibilities require discretion, initiative and sound judgment.
  • Ability to understand and apply staff rules, regulations and HR user guides.
  • Capacity to maintain harmonized and productive working relationships. Good communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and ensure results.
  • Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc) and experience in handling of web-based management systems.
  • Excellent French, working knowledge of Arabic and English
