Scope of Work
The Team Leader/Local Governance Expert shall:
Build and manage effective relationships with a range of stakeholders at different
levels including the Regional Council, the British Embassy Rabat, CSOs and other
international organisations and INGOs.
Lead on ensuring that the project delivers relevant technical assistance and
support in the areas of decentralisation, local governance and regional
development including providing targeted guidance to the project team on design
and implementation of activities in a politically sensitive manner.
Work closely with the Deputy Team Leader to ensure effective management of the
project (including but not limited to: tracking, reviewing and updating key project
documentation such as work plans, budgets, manuals; staff supervisory
responsibility; compliance with DAI policies and HMG rules and regulations).
In close collaboration with the Deputy Team Leader and DAI head office, ensure
coordination with the British Embassy Rabat and good information flow and

the exact skills and expertise of the candidate in question and their fit with the existing
team, the expert will be expected to be highly responsive to project requirements with
the requisite availability.
