Assistant Project Officer for JICA Morocco Office (2 persons)
Tasks
Under the guidance of the Resident Representative, the Assistant Project Officer is expected to conduct;
- Assistance of ODA loan operations, including drafting of documents for disbursements and contract managements
- Assistance of Training schemes with preparing necessary documents and processes
- Assistance of implementation of African Business Education Initiative scheme
- Assistance of Public Relations through drafting articles to various media, and maintaining relations with media houses.
- Any other tasks requested by the Resident Representative

Working hours
From Monday to Friday between 8:30-16:30 (lunch break between 12:00-13:00)

Profile of the applicants
Necessary profile of the applicants:
– BAC+4 years of academic experience
– Fluent, both in verbal and writing, in professional level in both French and English
– Computer skills in the complete Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
– Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and counterparts to achieve organizational goals with strong communication skills, such as to ask questions to clarify, and to demonstrate openness in sharing information and keeping people informed
– Strong desire to build a long-term career with JICA Morocco Office
Desirable profile of the applicants:
– Working experience in public sector, finance sector or/and international organizations
– Interests in international development
– Interests in social and economic development of Morocco
– Interests in Japan and the Japanese language

Selection procedure
Only successful candidates will be invited to the writing exam and interviews, which will be scheduled at the end of September to early October. The candidate is expected to start working at JICA Morocco Office from around the end of October to early November.
