SALARY : Gross Salary DH 294,463 p.a. (Starting Salary based on 40 hours including allowances and bonus. U.S. Mission will withhold from gross salary employee’s portion of CNSS and CIMR contributions, health/life/disability insurance contributions, as well as all tax obligations as imposed by the US and/or host country governments)
The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in Rabat is seeking an individual for the position of Accountant in the Financial Management Office. Detailed position description is available at USAID/EXO.
BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION:
The Accountant (OE/Program) position is located in the Financial Management Office (FMO) at USAID/Morocco. The Accountant position is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and routine review, reconciliation and balancing of accounting records and reporting on operational expenditures and administrative program funds.

Education: Possession of a university degree in accounting, finance, or business administration is required.
Experience: At least 3 years of experience in accounting or auditing is required.
Language: Level IV (fluent) English and Arabic is required. Level III (good working knowledge) French is also required.
Skills and Abilities: Good analytical skills and sound judgment are required. Must be able to compile and present detailed financial information in a concise and professional manner. Must have the ability to analyze and develop procedures and internal controls to ensure the integrity of USAID financial data. Must be able to understand and implement financial management operations required by law or regulation. Good communication skills to establish and maintain effective working relations with personnel in USAID and other USG Agencies. Must have strong word processing and spreadsheet skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access. Ability to work under high pressure and conflicting/emergency work demands.
