Counterpart International is seeking a CSO Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist for the USAID-funded Civil Society
Strengthening Program (CSSP) in Morocco. The CSSP Program will support civil society organizations (CSOs) to
contribute more effectively to lawmaking and the public policy process, as well as the Government of Morocco to
engage civil society in developing, implementing, and overseeing public policy.

The Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist will report to the Deputy Chief of Party and will be responsible for
developing, revising, implementing, and overseeing the program’s performance management, learning program
activities (MELP, DQA, MSC, etc.) and reporting system, including preparing and updating the Monitoring,
Evaluation and Learning Plan (MELP), ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of calculation methodologies used in
the MELP, maintaining and updating data collection and management systems, coordinating with sub-grantee
organizations, ensuring data integrity, verifying data, preparing and submitting all required performance reports to
USAID in a timely manner. The Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist will contribute to the design, supervision and
quality control of data collected through surveys and focus groups. The Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist will
also be responsible for providing technical assistance to the program partner civil society organizations, grantees
and beneficiaries as required.

This position is based in Rabat, Morocco with frequent in-country travel. This position is open to local candidates
only.
