Lead and grow a pioneering organization in Social Entrepreneurship in Morocco The Executive Director (ED) is the face of Moroccan CISE for all its stakeholders ie investors, partners, the press,etc and ensures that all of our activities are making our mission and vision of creating innovative and entrepreneurial solutions to all of Morocco’s social issues a reality. You have overall strategic and operational responsibility for MCISE’s staff, programs, expansion, and execution of its mission.

Your key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management:
Ensuring ongoing programmatic excellence, rigorous program evaluation, and consistent quality of finance and administration, fundraising, communications, and systems.
Actively engaging and energizing MCISE’s volunteers, board members, staff members, partners, and funders
Developing, maintaining, and supporting a strong Board of Directors: seek and build board involvement with strategic direction for both ongoing programs and developing new ones.
Leading, coaching, developing, and retaining MCISE’s high-performance senior management team: You Ensure effective systems to track scaling progress, and regularly evaluate our programs, so as to measure successes that can be effectively communicated to the board, funders, and other constituents
Fundraising & Communications:
Expanding local revenue generating and fundraising activities to support our existing programs and the growth of our organization
Deepening and refining all aspects of our communications—from web presence to external relations with the goal of creating a stronger brand
Using external presence and relationships to garner new opportunities
Planning & New Business:
Co-designing our strategic business planning process with the Director of Programs and the Director of Operations and Finance to expand into new markets
Building partnerships in new markets, establishing relationships with funders, and political and community leaders
Publishing and communicating our results with an emphasis on our successes as a model for regional and national replication
Run and supervise our newly created Dare Start up program
We want someone who (Qualifications)
Understands the Moroccan context: you know how projects work in Morocco and how to deal with them
Has previous experience in Business development and financing and/or investment management
Has excellent organizational and management skills: You can coach staff, manage, and develop high-performance teams, set and achieve strategic objectives, and manage a budget
Manages Up: you have past successes working with a Board of Directors with the ability to cultivate existing board member relationships
You have strong marketing, public relations, and fundraising experience, and you can engage easily with a wide range of stakeholders and cultures
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, Arabic, and French; you are a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
Loves working with people, and knows how to manage them effectively. You can easily form relationships with people, and know how to delegate tasks based on their strengths and motivations.
Is willing to tackle projects without much guidance/structure. We are two years old, so while we have some processes, you will also be called upon to build structure. You can show us how you have stepped into ambiguous and disorganized situations and brought them to be efficient.
Has worked for a startup or in a startup environment, and/or have worked in supporting startups to grow. You are willing to work beyond the job description, wear many hats, and roll with constant change.
